Our chef de cuisine, Christopher, has been proving his considerable creativity and talent for creating exquisite cuisine using select ingredients since 2019. He skilfully coordinates the whole kitchen team of both the Austria & Bellevue and ensures the smooth running of everything so that only the very best ends up on our guests’ plates.
What are your highlights in working at the Austria?
In the Austria & Bellevue I am able to unfold my full creative and culinary skills and am never bored. Every single day at work is different. And it is particularly this diversity that makes my daily work here so interesting. Together with my kitchen team I work on imaginative creations and, with our joint skills, we focus on one common goal: to add memorable culinary experiences to our guests’ holidays.
Have you made use of Gurgl’s many recreational opportunities?
Gurgl is a true haven for working and living and I am always able to find what I need here. If I want peace and quiet I can enjoy the tranquillity of the nature, away from any hustle and bustle. And, if I want a bit more action, I can choose one of the many sporting possibilities – the only hard thing is deciding which one! Skiing, hiking, biking … there is always something to experience and discover here.
Can you name a fun fact from your daily work?
There is always time for a bit of fun in our team. It always brings a smile to our faces, for example, if our junior boss is like Maya the Bee (character from a famous German book).
Do you have any tips for future employees?
In the Austria & Bellevue employees can expect a great team in which everyone learns from everyone else. And this is one of the things I appreciate most.
